The Star Inn The City
Lendal Engine House, Museum Street, York, YO1 7DR
About
Andrew Pern's riverside brasserie in the Grade II listed Lendal Engine House of 1784, on the Ouse beside Museum Gardens, the city outpost of his Michelin-starred Star Inn at Harome. The kitchen cooks seasonal British food built on North Yorkshire produce, with an AA Rosette, and the glass-fronted extension and terrace look straight onto the river. Tables book through OpenTable; drinks are walk-in only, first come first served, and the terrace is one of the best fair-weather spots in the city.
