About

Chef-owner Neil Bentinck's small-plates restaurant on Micklegate, holder of a Michelin Bib Gourmand, cooking contemporary British food with an unapologetic international reach: the name is Japanese-derived slang for "a little", and the menu runs as snacks and small plates meant for grazing rather than courses. The room is informal, counter seats face the kitchen, and it has been one of the hardest tables in York to get since it opened. Reservations need card details to hold, and groups of five or more should phone.
