A modern North African kitchen on Grape Lane that started life as a street-food stall and still runs one at Shambles Market daily (11:30-17:00) alongside the restaurant. The cooking is Maghreb and eastern-Mediterranean: charcoal-grilled meats, meze, flatbreads and proper spicing, in a small candlelit room in the middle of the old city. Table bookings are taken by phone rather than online, and the market stall is the fastest way to try the food if the restaurant is full.
