About

A working fisherman's pub on the north bank of the Blyth at Blackshore, a mile from the town centre and worth the walk or the short drive. It sits right on the water's edge among the black tarred fishing huts, and the daily menu is built around whatever local seafood is available. Tables are strictly first come, first served, so on a warm weekend the outside benches go early. Adnams beers and spirits at the bar. It is the start point of the Adnams 10k every November, and the natural halfway stop on the walk from the pier round to the harbour and back over the Town Marshes.
