Pier Head and the Three Graces

Start at the Pier Head to take in the Royal Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building together. The Liver Birds on top of the Royal Liver Building are the city's most recognisable symbol; the observation deck inside the building (Liver Bird Rise) can be added if time allows.

A Full Day in Liverpool: Waterfront, Cathedrals and Football

Full day, roughly 9 hours including mealsYear-round

A full day covering the waterfront, both cathedrals via the Georgian Quarter's Hope Street, and finishing with dinner near the Philharmonic Hall. This is the shape of a first full day for anyone staying two or more nights, with the football stadium tours flagged as an add-on for a second day given the distance from the centre.
