James Chant's ramen shop in a converted former bank on Clare Road, Grangetown, which grew from a lockdown ramen-kit project into one of the most talked-about noodle bars in Britain, with national critics making the trip down. The bowls take ramen seriously without being po-faced about Welsh ingredients or the odd irreverent special, and the room is small enough that booking ahead through the restaurant's own site is strongly advised.
