Curado Bar
2 Guildhall Place, Westgate Street, Cardiff, CF10 1EB
About
A Spanish bar on the corner of Guildhall Place and Westgate Street, in the shadow of the stadium, run by the team behind the Ultracomida delis in west Wales. Downstairs is a big, easy room of pintxos, cured meats sliced to order, Spanish cheeses, and an unusually good list of Spanish beer, wine and sherry; the ethos, in the owners' own words, is produce straight from Spain with no hype. On match days it becomes one of the best pre-game rooms in the city; on quiet days it is where you take someone who thinks Cardiff has no good lunch options.
