Included because it answers a real question rather than an aspirational one. Margate's independent rooms are small in number and book out, particularly around Pride in early August, the Bookie in October and any Dreamland gig weekend, and this is the town's only large-capacity, predictably priced, bookable-late option. It sits at Station Green immediately by Margate railway station, which makes it the shortest walk from a train of anything in this list, about half a mile from the Old Town along the seafront. There is nothing to say about it that is specific to Margate, which is exactly its function.
