About
A family-run restaurant in a former timber yard off the Grassmarket's west end, open since 2012 and holding a Michelin star since 2023, with a Michelin Green Star for sustainability following in 2026 by the restaurant's own account. The kitchen works exclusively with wild meat, deer, game birds, wild boar, hare, rabbit, and champions natural and biodynamic wines, served in a raw brick-and-timber room that still looks like the warehouse it was. Its sister restaurant Montrose sits across town. Menus change weekly; dinner runs Wednesday to Sunday with lunch from Thursday.
