About

A neighbourhood brasserie in a former early-twentieth-century bank at the West End, opened in August 2021 by James Snowdon and Lloyd Morse, with the old vault now serving as the wine cellar. The kitchen butchers whole animals in-house and runs a daily on-site bakery, and the cooking is the sort of unshowy, ingredient-led British food that has made this one of the restaurants Edinburgh locals actually book, rather than one they send visitors to and avoid themselves. Set lunch runs around £23 to £26, and £1 from every bill goes to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
