About
Tom Kitchin's flagship on Leith's Commercial Quay, opened in 2006 in a converted whisky bonded warehouse and holding a Michelin star since 2007. The philosophy is printed on the menus, From Nature to Plate: Scottish seasonal produce, hand-dived scallops, game in season, cooked with French technique. Tasting menus lead at dinner, with a set lunch for earlier arrivals, and the dining room's stone, slate and heather palette is as deliberately Scottish as the larder. Closed Sunday and Monday; book well ahead, and further ahead again in August.
