Cafe St Honore
34 North West Thistle Street Lane, Edinburgh, EH2 1EA
About
A Parisian-style bistro hidden down a New Town lane, where chef-owner Neil Forbes cooks a daily-changing menu of local, seasonal and sustainably sourced ingredients, Scottish produce through a French lens. The room is all mirrors, checkerboard floor and bentwood chairs, and the lane setting on North West Thistle Street Lane means most people who find it were sent by someone. Slow Food affiliated, and closed Tuesday and Wednesday, which is worth knowing before you walk over.
