McGann's Pub
Roadford, Doolin, Co. Clare
About
McGann's sits in Roadford, the inland section of the village, and is the family pub of the three older Doolin houses, run by the McGanns since the 1970s. It is a warm, low-ceilinged room with an open fire, and the food is honest pub cooking: beef and Guinness stew, fish and chips, burgers with homemade chips, daily specials and an apple pie that gets named in reviews. Traditional sessions run most nights of the year and seven nights a week through the summer, and they can start spontaneously in the afternoon. No bookings for the bar food; arrive and settle in.
