It sits directly opposite Birr Theatre and Arts Centre and next to the main gates of Birr Castle Demesne, which makes it the natural stop either side of a demesne visit. The Stables is several things in one building: tea rooms on the ground floor, a fashion and homeware emporium, a beauty salon and bed and breakfast rooms upstairs. No online table booking; walk in. Closed Mondays.
