The city's flagship craft brewery, on Walmgate inside the walls, with a ground-floor taproom pouring 16 taps on the site of the original brewhouse and a Bavarian-style beer hall upstairs running 40 taps, plus a covered riverside beer garden on the Foss. YUZU street food cooks Asian dishes from an open kitchen, weekly brewery tours run with tastings, and the beers, from crisp lagers to heavily fruited sours, are all over the north's better bars. Dog friendly, family friendly until 8pm, and tables for groups of ten or more can be reserved.
