The Fisherman's Wife
Khyber Pass, Whitby, North Yorkshire
About
Up on the West Cliff at the bottom of Khyber Pass, which puts it above the harbour with a sea view rather than a quayside one, and makes it the option when the Pier Road pavement is impassable. The menu is seafood-led with the usual fish and chips alongside it. This is the one to walk to if you have come down from the Whalebone Arch or the Cook statue and do not want to descend into the town centre crush. Its own website did not load during research, so call ahead rather than relying on published hours.
