Anfield holds just over 61,000 and is a few miles north of the city centre in the Anfield district, a genuine residential neighbourhood rather than a purpose-built sports quarter, which is part of what gives match days their atmosphere. Tours run most days when the stadium is not in match-day use; the museum keeps slightly longer hours than the tours themselves.
