Doctor Who Cardiff Bay Walking Tour

← All things to do

About

Cardiff has been Doctor Who's production home since the 2005 revival, and Cardiff Bay is its backlot: Roald Dahl Plass stood in for the rift in Torchwood, the BBC's Roath Lock studios sit across the water, and the waterfront shrine to Ianto Jones is still tended by fans nearly two decades on. Brit Movie Tours, an established screen-locations operator, runs a 90-minute guided walking tour of the Bay's filming sites, meeting outside the Wales Millennium Centre's main entrance; they also run a longer city-centre Doctor Who walk from the castle gates. A genuinely good way to make the Bay's regeneration story land, even for the mildly Who-curious.
