A Cardiff arcade institution since 1990, now trading from Duke Street Arcade: an American-style deli counter famous for its overloaded hoagies, bagels and Reubens, with a massive vegan menu bolted on long before that was fashionable. The queue at lunchtime is part of the experience, the portions are a challenge, and the hours are gloriously casual; the deli's own site lists them as '11:00 to 3:30pm ish', closed Sunday and Monday. Cash in hand and low expectations of a seat; this is takeaway food to eat on a bench in the arcades.
