About

Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea in the grandest room in Bath: the Georgian Pump Room beside the Abbey, social heart of the city for over two centuries and name-checked by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. Operated by Searcys, it serves under chandeliers and Corinthian columns with live classical music daily, and the spa water fountain at the end of the room pours the famous warm mineral water for the brave (temporarily under maintenance at the time of research). It is the full Georgian theatre of Bath and priced accordingly; the Jane Austen afternoon tea is the signature order. Book via the online system, especially for weekend tea.
