About
The surf school in the Pavilion units at the end of the prom, about as close to the water as a building gets here, with a surf shop next door and a webcam pointed at the break. The public lesson runs at 2pm every day through the summer and at weekends in winter, in Irish Surfing Association groups of eight to one instructor, and guarantees fifty minutes in the water inside a two-hour session. Wetsuits and boards are included; boots, gloves and hoods are extra when it is cold. Prices start around 40 euro a head.
