A bilingual adventure-education centre off the Riverstown Road at the back of the beach, running surfing alongside stand-up paddleboarding, bodyboarding, coastal walks and ecology field trips, with a full Irish-language programme. The site has indoor lecture rooms, changing rooms, hot showers and a coffee bar, which matters more than it sounds in April. It takes school and group bookings as well as individuals, so it is the one to ring for a family or a birthday rather than a drop-in lesson.
