About
Courtmacsherry Sea Angling Centre runs whale and dolphin trips on its boat, the Lady Catherine, and some of them leave from Kinsale Pier. You spend three to four hours out on the water off the West Cork coast looking for fin, humpback and minke whales, common dolphins and harbour porpoise, with basking sharks and sunfish in the summer and seabirds such as gannets, puffins and guillemots. The whales come in to feed over the summer, while dolphins and porpoise are around all year.
