Getting to Kinsale
How to reach Kinsale by train, bus, taxi, or car.
Rail
There is no train station in Kinsale. The branch line that once ran here closed in 1931 and was never replaced, so the railhead for the town is Cork Kent Station in Cork city. The good news is that the same Bus Éireann Route 226 that serves Kinsale runs straight to Cork Kent, so a train connection is a single bus ride away: take the 226 into Cork, then pick up your train at Kent for Dublin, Cobh, Midleton or beyond.
