Kai
Kai
Sea Road, West End, Galway
About
Kai opened in 2011 when Jess and Dave Murphy took over a former florist's on Sea Road in the West End, and it has carried a Michelin Bib Gourmand for years now. The cooking leans hard on wild and organic local produce, with a menu that shifts as the seasons and the suppliers dictate. Lunch is walk-in and gloriously informal; dinner is booked direct and worth planning around. The room is small, plant-filled and a little ramshackle in the best Galway way.
