About
Ard Bia sits in a historic stone building right at the Spanish Arch, hard against the Corrib where it meets the sea. The cooking is Irish at its root with a strong pull from the Middle East and North Africa, which makes it stand apart from anything else in the city. It works as a cafe by day and a restaurant upstairs by night, and the brunch has a cult following that earns the queue. The daytime cafe is walk-in; the evening takes bookings by phone.
