An old-world bar on the corner where Main Street meets Abbey Street, with seating out front and at the back and music sessions through the year. It is one of the three pubs that carry the village socially, and the one most likely to have locals in it rather than visitors. A caution on sourcing: the business is trading, but the domain it used to publish at, danaghershotel.com, now redirects to an unrelated overseas gambling site, so treat any link you find to it as dead and ring the bar instead.
