Teach Nan Phaidí
Cill Mhuirbhigh (Kilmurvy), Inis Mór, Aran Islands, Co. Galway
About
Teach Nan Phaidí is a thatched-cottage cafe at Cill Mhuirbhigh (Kilmurvy), a few minutes' walk from the Dún Aonghasa visitor centre, and the natural stop before or after the fort. It does homemade soup, Irish stew and soda bread by an open fire, with vegan and gluten-free options, in a genuinely old cottage rather than a purpose-built cafe. Given how little is open along the coast road, this is one of the few reliable food stops between Kilronan and Dún Aonghasa.
