About
Man of Aran Crafts & Café, at Cill Mhuirbhigh (Kilmurvy) near Dún Aonghasa, is a long-standing meeting place for locals as much as visitors, doing coffee and simple food alongside its craft shop. It takes its name from the 1934 Robert Flaherty film shot on the island, and the craft side of the business sells local and Irish-made goods. It is a low-key, easy stop on the way to or from the fort, less about the food than the setting and the welcome.
