About

City Cruises York runs 45-minute to 1-hour sightseeing cruises on the River Ouse with live commentary, departing from King's Staith Landing by Ouse Bridge and from Lendal Bridge Landing below Museum Gardens. From the water you get the city the road-level crowds never see: the Guildhall river frontage, the bishops' palaces, the flood marks, and the herons and kingfishers that work the banks. First sailings around 10:30 with the last guaranteed departure at 15:00 (16:00 in the April to September high season); dogs on leads welcome and under 5s free.
