East Cliff, Whitby, North Yorkshire
A brewery and taproom on the East Cliff, up beside the abbey. The location is not a gimmick: the brewery genuinely operates from the headland, and the taproom looks out over the cliff and the sea. It brews a core range plus seasonals and runs live music. If you are already up at the abbey it is a two-minute walk, and it turns the climb up the 199 steps into a round trip with a reward at the top rather than just a view.
