Joe's is a Swansea name, a firm marking 100 years of Italian ice cream made in Wales, and its Mumbles parlour on Mumbles Road opened in 1984. With Verdi's at Knab Rock closed after its July 2026 fire, this is the village's ice cream counter for now. The parlour is a short walk from the beach and the pier. The seating area closes at five in the afternoon while the counter keeps serving into the evening, so a late cone is a takeaway on the prom wall.
