A coffee roaster with a cafe and store at 12 The Centre, just off the High Street, roasting on the Kent coast rather than buying in. It is the town's speciality coffee reference point and it doubles as a shop, so beans, kit and brewing gear go out of the same room the espresso comes from. Open every day, from eight in the morning, which makes it one of the few genuinely early options in a town whose hospitality mostly starts at noon. Closes at four, or three on Sundays.
