About
Liverpool's not-for-profit radical and community bookshop on Bold Street, established in 1974 and run collectively by a women workers' co-operative with no boss and no owner. The shop specialises in progressive and socially conscious literature, feminism, LGBTQ+ writing, environmental politics and local history, alongside a strong children's section, and can order in anything a bigger chain bookseller could. Fifty years of continuous trading on the same street makes it one of the longest-running independent shops in the city.
