A small-plates restaurant on Sauchiehall Street towards Kelvingrove, credited with helping popularise the sharing-plates format in Glasgow when it opened, and still one of the busiest bookings in the city years on. The kitchen runs a long, changing list of dishes pulling in Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian technique around a Scottish larder, meant for ordering several between two or three people rather than one dish each. The room is a converted red-sandstone corner unit with an open kitchen counter at the back, informal but genuinely full most nights.
