About

The West Highland Way runs 96 miles from Milngavie and finishes in Gordon Square, at the west end of the High Street, where a bronze statue of a walker, called Sore Feet in Highland Council's announcement, is missing one boot. The square has been the official finish since September 2010, when the route was extended from what grough magazine called the inauspicious roundabout at Nevis Bridge, an extra mile back along the road. The last stage from Kinlochleven is 15 miles (24 km), per the route's own site.
