The Celtic Collection's city-centre flagship, opened in 2021 in the beautifully converted former Post Office and County Court buildings on Westgate Street, in partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union, whose stadium is within touching distance next door. Inside are rooms that mix the buildings' Victorian bones with contemporary comfort, the Sorting Room restaurant and bar (the name is the old Post Office's), and a rooftop spa with a pool looking over the city. Named AA Hotel of the Year for Wales 2024. On international weekends it is the most in-demand address in Wales; book absurdly far ahead for those.
