Cardiff's continental deli since 1947, filling a long run of the Royal Arcade with cheese, charcuterie, olives, Welsh larder staples and a famously deep sweets-and-chocolate wall. Founded by a family with central European roots, it has stayed independent through every reinvention of the city centre around it, and the Kaffeehaus upstairs serves Viennese-style coffee and strudel under the arcade's glass roof. If you take one edible souvenir home from Cardiff, it comes from here or the market.
