The Goods Shed
Station Road West, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 8AN
About
The Goods Shed pairs Canterbury's farmers' market with a working restaurant, set inside a converted railway shed opposite Canterbury West station on Station Road West. Traders sell fish, meat, cheese and vegetables on the market floor six days a week, and the open kitchen cooks whatever's on the stalls that morning into a short, changing menu of modern British dishes. It's one of the few restaurants where you can watch your dinner get bought before it gets cooked, and it holds a place in the Michelin Guide for it.
