About
A narrow-gauge steam railway from Aberystwyth up the Rheidol valley to Devil's Bridge, from a station on Park Avenue beside the main station. The railway describes the trip as a 24-mile round trip taking two hours forty-five minutes with the stop at the top. Steam trains run every day until 1 November 2026, and its Ticket to Christmas events run from 16 to 23 December 2026, per its own page. Trains call on request at Capel Bangor, Nantyronen and Aberffrwd and at halts along the line. The Engine Shed Museum at the Aberystwyth end is free for all visitors.

Tips
- →The railway runs to coloured timetables. Devil's Bridge Waterfalls' own FAQ says the orange timetable leaves about an hour at the top, and the yellow and green timetables, high season only, leave longer.
- →Single tickets are only available at the booking office or by phone, not online.
- →Dogs travel in standard class for £4.00 each; assistance dogs travel free.
- →First class and the accessible compartment must return on the same train.
