The Arts Centre is on the Penglais campus at the top of the hill, about a mile up from the station. It has a 312-seat theatre, a 112-seat cinema that shows at least two films a day, four gallery spaces, two cafes, bars and shops, according to the university. Hours vary with the programme, so check with the Arts Centre before you go; the box office is on 01970 623232. It is the hub for Aberystwyth Comedy Festival.
