Sparrow's Nest is on Market Square, in the middle of the town beside the Billy Byrne statue, doing lunch and dinner from a kitchen led by head chef Tomasz whose strength, by the town's own account, is seafood. It is a small independent room rather than a chain or a pub kitchen, which makes it the main alternative to Blue if you want a sit-down dinner without walking down to the harbour. Reservations are taken by phone.
