McCloskey's is the bakery Drogheda actually buys its bread from. The bakery itself is on the Ballymakenny Road on the north side of the town, and the company runs a shop on Trinity Street and the Moorland Cafe and Bakery on West Street, along with shops further afield in Dundalk and Navan. It is a working commercial bakery rather than a boutique one, which is exactly why it is worth knowing about: this is the ordinary, good, everyday baking of the town rather than a tourist proposition. The West Street cafe is the easiest one to find yourself in without planning to.
