About

A husband-and-wife farm at Carstown north east of Drogheda growing six varieties of speciality and heritage potatoes plus seasonal vegetables, sold direct from the farm through what they call the Spudshack and posted out around the country. If your idea of a potato is a bag of roosters from the supermarket, this is the corrective: purple, pink and blue varieties that behave differently in the pan and are worth cooking simply. Orders are placed online or by phone and collected from the farm. It is a working farm rather than a visitor attraction, so order first and arrange collection rather than calling in on spec.
