About
The ivy-clad ruin of the Gothic Revival manor built by John D'Arcy, the founder of Clifden, on the Lower Sky Road just west of the town. It looks out over Clifden Bay and stands above a short trail that passes a line of standing stones. You cannot go inside the structure, which is unstable, but you can walk up to it on a track from the old gatehouse on the Sky Road. The walk in can be muddy.
