The Bay Tree sits at the northern end of Newry Street and has long been the village's other name for a proper dinner, alongside Ghan House. Chef-proprietor Conor Woods trained with Michael Deane and Raymond McArdle, and the kitchen makes its own breads, stocks and sauces rather than buying them in, with the menu built on fresh local fish and simple modern cooking.
