Tí Joe Watty's is the family-owned pub and seafood restaurant in the middle of Cill Rónáin, and the closest thing Inis Mór has to a village institution: it has been named among Ireland's top pubs for live music, and it is where the island's festivals and events tend to end up, from Féile na mBád Árann's skippers' dinner to nightly summer sessions. The kitchen runs a proper seafood menu alongside chowder, burgers, steaks and salads, built on lobster and mussels landed locally. It is a walk-in pub rather than a booking restaurant, so turn up and expect it to be busy on a fine evening, especially when there is music on.
