The practical stuff most travel sites skip. Everything you need to know before visiting Adare, from parking to pharmacies.
Accessibility
Village
Adare's Main Street and the Heritage Centre are largely at road level, but the street is busy with traffic and footpaths can be narrow along the thatched row. The medieval churches and ruins have uneven historic ground and some steps; check with each site.
The main obstacles are the traffic on Main Street and the uneven ground at the historic sites. For venue-level access, contact each place directly. Desmond Castle is reached by shuttle from the Heritage Centre and involves a castle site; contact the Heritage Centre about access.
