The George Inn, Eton
77 High Street, Eton, Windsor, SL4 6AF
About
The George Inn is a historic coaching inn on Eton High Street dating from around 1750, facing the Thames with one of the best postcard views back across the river to Windsor Castle. It serves freshly cooked pub dishes and craft beer, with a beer garden and rooms upstairs, and makes a relaxed, villagey stop after a wander over the bridge to Eton, away from the busier Windsor side.
