The Boatman
Windsor Bridge, Windsor, SL4 1PZ
About
The Boatman is a riverside pub, restaurant and terrace directly on the Thames by Eton Bridge, self-described as the area's only proper pub on the river. Recently refurbished, it serves classic and modern dishes with a genuine waterfront terrace rather than a view across a road. The dining room and bar take bookings; the terrace is walk-in and a fine spot on a warm day. It is a short stroll from the Castle and the town centre.

The George Inn, Eton
A circa-1750 coaching inn on Eton High Street with the best view back to Windsor Castle, a relaxed stop across the bridge.
